Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to deliver our services.
Information you give us directly
- Contact details — your name, email address, and, where you provide it, your phone number and mailing address.
- Mobile and messaging information — your mobile phone number and your record of consent, where you have opted in to receive text messages from us.
- Project and business information — details you send us about your company, your systems, and the work you would like us to do.
- Correspondence — the contents of emails, text messages, and other messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This data is generated by the act of serving the page and is used to operate and secure the site.
Our website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party marketing pixels.
Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, biometric data, or health information through this website.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about your project;
- provide, perform, and support the services you have engaged us for;
- send you service, scheduling, account, and support messages, including text messages where you have opted in;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and systems; and
- meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
SMS, mobile information, and text messaging
This section describes how we handle mobile and text messaging data. It applies to all messaging programs operated by Arismatic Studios LLC.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Consent and opt-in. We send text messages only to individuals who have given us prior express consent to receive them. Consent is given by you directly — for example, by submitting your mobile number to us in writing, or by confirming your agreement to receive messages during onboarding. We never purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire mobile numbers from outside sources, and we do not add anyone to a messaging program without their own opt-in. Your mobile information is used only for the purpose for which you gave consent.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to buy or receive any service from us.
Message types. Messages we send may include appointment and scheduling confirmations, project and status updates, service and support notifications, and responses to your enquiries.
Automated replies. Replies to your text messages may be generated by an automated assistant rather than written by a person. To reach a person directly, email hello@arismaticstudios.com. The content of messages you send us is processed to generate those replies, as described under “Service providers” below.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the work in progress and on your interactions with us.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier and are not charged by us.
How to opt out. You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message you receive from us. After you do, we will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further text messages from us. You may also opt out by emailing hello@arismaticstudios.com. If you want to rejoin later, simply sign up again as you did the first time.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@arismaticstudios.com, for assistance with a messaging program.
Carrier liability. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing of information
Arismatic Studios LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Your text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, for any purpose.
Service providers. We use a small number of providers that process data strictly on our behalf and under our instructions in order to make our services function. Each is bound by its agreement with us, is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes, and is not permitted to use it for marketing:
- Telnyx — transmits our text messages to and from your mobile carrier. Receives your mobile number and message content in order to deliver the message.
- OpenAI — generates automated replies to messages you send us. Receives the content of those messages in order to produce a reply. OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. Message content may be retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, and is then deleted.
- Resend — transmits email between you and us.
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes the technical request data described above.
These providers are service providers acting on our behalf. They are not permitted to sell your information, to share it onward, or to use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so — for example, in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or other lawful request by a government authority, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Data security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption in transit. Our website is served exclusively over HTTPS using TLS, so information exchanged with the site is encrypted between your device and our servers.
- Access control. Access to personal information is limited to those who need it to perform the work, and is protected by strong, unique credentials and multi-factor authentication where available.
- Data minimization. We collect only the information we need, and we do not retain it longer than we need it.
- Vendor review. We keep our number of service providers small and review the security posture of those we use.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable authority as required by law.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for:
- Enquiry correspondence — kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Client project records — kept for 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Mobile numbers and consent records — kept while your consent is active. If you opt out, we retain only the minimum record needed to honor your opt-out and to show that we did so.
Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, and request a copy of it.
- Correct or modify information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete.
- Delete your personal information, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
- Withdraw your consent to any processing that is based on your consent, including consent to receive text messages.
- Object to or restrict how we use your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@arismaticstudios.com or write to us at the address at the top of this policy. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw consent at any time and by any of these routes: reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to a text message to end text messaging; use the unsubscribe link in an email to end that email program; or email us to withdraw consent to any or all processing. Withdrawal takes effect promptly and does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew.
Do Not Track and third-party sites
Our website does not track visitors across other websites and does not respond to Do Not Track signals, because it performs no such tracking. Our site may link to third-party websites we do not control; this policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated directly to active clients and messaging subscribers.
